HNZ  U21 Men's Coach


Hockey New Zealand’s vision is to become the World’s Best Hockey Nation.  Hockey New Zealand needs to provide leadership to all key areas of community hockey to ensure the sport can deliver on its stated vision. 

The focus of this influential coaching role within the Performance Coaching team, will be responsible for the preparation, coaching and performance of the NZ Men’s U21 Squad and Teams results in international competition.

 

To be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in coaching and management, responsible for developing and delivering performance hockey outcomes, ideally but not exclusively at a regional or national level. 

 

Having effectively managed player development and leading successful national tournament campaigns will be sought after skills, along with well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication abilities. Strategic thinking and planning skills, good organisational and financial management capabilities, are also sought-after requirements for the role.
