Poverty Bay Hockey's Pre-Season programme is a once a week performance development programme run over November - December.
PBH have branded this programme PATH (Promoting Athletic Talent in Hockey).
The programme will be designed to assist athletes improve their technical and tactical hockey skills for the betterment of their 2019 hockey season. The different tiers will support players based on their age and ability. The programme will be delivered by a variety of coaches both within and external to Poverty Bay and include components of Central Hockey’s high performance plan and include many techniques, focus areas and drills.
The programme will also provide athletes the opportunity to improve their fitness through dedicated fitness plans.
PATH Development - Skills
• Open to players U13-U18 – includes 2018 U13 and U15 PB Rep players
• Thursdays PATH Skills - 5pm-6.30pm
• November 8th - December 13th
• Please note: First session starts 5pm Thursday 8th November
PATH - Fitness
PATH Fitness will be run slightly differently this year. An assigned fitness plan will be given to participants, which they will work through in their own time, gym work will be included.
We will also include at least one Nutrition session as well as an Umpiring session during the programme. Times and dates for these sessions will be confirmed at a later date.
PATH - Costs
The cost of participating is a tiered system based on the number of years you have been a PATH Participant.
1st year PATH $110.00 (includes PATH shirt)
2nd Year PATH $90.00 (PATH shirt additional)
3rd Year PATH $70.00 (PATH shirt additional)
4th Year PATH $60.00 (PATH shirt additional)

Registrations close Friday 26th October
You will be sent an 'invoice' from the registration programme, this is confirmation of your registration only. PBH will send a PBH Invoice once registrations close.
